We are an independent institution, and it is important to us that the younger generation in Prague has a place where they can engage with culture, discover new talented artists, and contribute their own creativity. We want to create a space for topics that resonate and provide artists with fair conditions.

You might be surprised to learn that we’re 48% financially self-sufficient, which is actually a very high figure for an independent production house.

Without support from public budgets (mainly from the City of Prague), however, our tickets would cost twice as much, or ARCHA+ simply wouldn’t exist in its current form. Declining support from the Ministry of Culture and inflation are simply keeping our budget in a rather tight spot.

At the same time, we know all too well what the reality is—that student budgets and part-time jobs aren’t bottomless. We don’t want to raise regular ticket prices across the board and take away the opportunity to experience culture from those for whom we primarily create it.

How can you help us, if you’d like to?

• The “I Support ARCHA+” ticket when purchasing on GoOut

When buying tickets for selected events, you can choose the higher price category “I Support ARCHU+.” It’s the easiest way to contribute a few extra crowns directly to the program.

• One-time or recurring donation

After a quick and easy registration, you can send us any amount via a payment order. Even a recurring monthly donation of 100 crowns gives us tremendous peace of mind, allowing us to continue planning for the future.
