Duncan at ARŠE+ will present choreographies by Lali Ayguade and Dora Sulženko Hoštová created with students from the Duncan Centre Conservatory. Together they will present an evening of contemporary dance and movement theatre on January 12 and 13, 2025.

The Duncan Centre Conservatory focuses on contemporary dance, and great attention is paid to developing each student's creative potential. Students collaborate with renowned national and international choreographers and create their own works. Graduates of the school have been an integral part of the domestic dance and theatre scene for almost 30 years. They excel in creativity, aesthetic thinking, timeliness and progressiveness of their own work.

Lali Ayguade
Acclaimed Spanish choreographer, long-time member of the Akram Khan Company. She has collaborated with important choreographers such as Marcos Morau, Hofesh Schechter, Roberto Olivan and Baró d'Evel. Since 2013, she has been the artistic director of her own company, for which she has created Kokoro, iU an Mi, Hidden, Runa, among others.

She was nominated for the Critics Awards of London in 2010 as "Outstanding Dancer" and in 2014 as "Best Creator". She was also nominated as best dancer at the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards for "Recomana.cat". She has also collaborated with Slovak choreographer Anton Lachky, one of the founders of the dance collective Les Slovaks. In Prague, she has already been a guest of the Dance Prague and Nultý bod festivals, among others.

Dora Sulženko Hoštová
Dora Solzhenko is a dancer and choreographer. Dance teacher at the Duncan Centre Conservatory and KALD DAMU. Author of her own productions Proces, Arkánum, Na Bidýlku, Tore, and others. She has created movement collaborations and choreography for Hit, Runners (Cirk La Putyka), Breathless (VOSTO5), The Mystery of the Conundrum (Divadlo Minor), The Bartered Bride...(Divadlo DISK), The Unbearable Fluidity of Being (Vít Neznal, Jatka78) and others.
