On 14 June, founders and guitarists Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson will delve into monumental and fragile tones in a special live show titled Shoshin (初心) Duo. The event is organized by Heartnoize Promotion in collaboration with ARCHA+.

SUNN O))) have been relentlessly challenging our perceptions of music and especially metal for 26 years. Celebrating a quarter of a century on the scene, the band returns to playing live, with which they have toured legendary venues from Lincoln Center in New York, to Labrinto Della Masone in Italy, to The Barbican in London. At their shows, the sound is almost tangible and becomes physical – masses of drawn-out drones confront the audience with a monumentality that is unparalleled. Guitar riffs intertwined with dense soundscapes reach an almost meditative dimension in their performance. SUNN O))) have collaborated with the likes of Earth, Boris and Pansonic, as well as Steve Albini and Hildur Guðnadóttir.

Tickets are on pre-sale on the website for 890 CZK. There is also a limited student category on sale for 650 Kč, as well as VIP tickets giving, among other things, access to the band’s soundcheck worth 2150 Kč. The event is not covered by the Heartnoize pass, which is only valid for the March and April concerts.
