15 years. More than 170 printed issues, cca 2500 texts, countless more online. 72 albums released. Almost 150 different events. The first issue of Full Moon magazine was published on May 29, 2010, and on the same day, 15 years later, a birthday party will be held in the ARCHA+.

For its 15th birthday, Full Moon not only gave itself a spectacular evening, but also another unique compilation, which will be released on 2LP and digitally under the identical title FULL MOON 15. Artist Annet X and musician and producer NobodyListen released the highly acclaimed album Look With Me together in 2023, with new recordings planned for this year. Annet X has performed at several events organised by the magazine, while NobodyListen is the only local musician to appear on its cover twice. Slovak artist Erika Rein released her award-winning album Kamibe under the Full Moon Forum label last autumn, while the partner and artistic duo Nikol Bóková and Jan Bók Vala are behind the brand new project Astronaut on Speaker. Their collaborative project, connecting the worlds of electronic music, classical music and jazz, will premiere both on the Archa+ stage and on the FULL MOON 15 compilation, and will next be launched at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The energy of the afterparty will be provided by producer Litterbin with one of his legendary DJ sets.

FULL MOON 15 features 21 unique tracks that will only be available as part of the recording. “Continuing the tradition of the Superheroes or Full Moon 10 compilations, this time we have managed to put together a truly spectacular affair together with the participating bands, performers and artists,” says Michal Pařízek, editor-in-chief of the magazine, and continues. The single hits of the Slovak Berlin Manson and the bands Ida the Young and Viah will be complemented by other participants, such as Fvck_Kvlt, Post-hudba, Amelie Siba, Dukla, Nina Kohout, Anna Vaverková or the duo Klara Wodehn and Toyota Vangelis. The international scene is represented by the Dutch group Tramhaus, the duo hackedepicciotto, which consists of the founder of the legendary Einstürzende Neubauten Alexander Hacke with his wife, artist and musician Danielle de Picciotto, or the cult Estonian duo Mart Avi & Ajukaja.

The FULL MOON 15 compilation will be on sale for the first time on the 15th anniversary of the magazine, which was celebrated at the Sharpe Festival in Slovakia, where an exhibition of selected cover pages was held. This year, Full Moon curated the accompanying music programme of the AFO Olomouc festival, with the traditional Full Moon Stage at Colours of Ostrava in July and the next edition of Moody Moon Noize at the end of the summer.
