A debate for secondary schools on information overload, media literacy, conspiracy theories, and critical thinking. How to find the right sources?

In today's world, we receive a huge amount of information every day, surrounding us from all sides. How can we know the truth? What is the point of education when we can find the answer to any question in a matter of seconds?

Debate for Puppets is a discussion format with anonymous guests. The audience will have the opportunity to listen and later ask questions themselves. The debate is followed by a lecture program that actively engages students in the topic and gives them the opportunity to absorb it in more depth.

DEBATA PRO LOUTKY (Debate for Puppets) is a project and now a collective that originated at DAMU and moved in June to a new cultural space dedicated to young adult audiences, ARCHA+. It is a debate project based on the secret identities of individual guests. We are interested in how much a person is influenced in communication by the awareness of who they are talking to. Whether based on what they say, how they behave, or even what they look like. Therefore, neither the audience nor the debate moderator knows the identity of the guests, which opens up space for discussion without prejudice and with greater openness.

Each guest is given an "avatar" or alter ego—a puppet that will perform in their place that evening. The puppet is neutral, has no recognizable character, and thus allows the audience to form an opinion of the debater based solely on their reasoning and attitudes. For this reason, the format is called Debate for Puppets.
