Tancesraz: Workshop/Audition with Soleilou Chaou

Program:

• October 13 – workshop with Soleila Chao, which will also include an audition, from which Soleila will select 5-8 dancers to create a piece that will premiere on the final day of the Tancesraz festival. Soleila Chao is a distinctive personality who combines flamenco and vogue into a unique dance style. She lives in Paris. (Location of the workshop/audition: InDance, Pod Stárkou 4, Praha 4 - Michle, 140 00)
• October 17th – a day dedicated to lectures on topics such as the body and staying fit, dance and what comes after it.
• October 18th – an international 2vs2 dance battle, in which top dancers will compete before a jury composed of world-renowned personalities. The evening continues with an official afterparty with DJs Kubko DC and Potkis.
• October 19th – a composed theater performance bringing together two international urban style choreographers (Soleila Chaou, Duo Justin De Jager and Sem Deliveyne) and four Czech contemporary dance ensembles and choreographers (Michal Heriban, Pop Balet, Katarina Chilli Čiliková and co., Vivid Dance Company). Together, they will create a unique work that connects worlds that rarely meet on one stage.
