Kikuo

music EN friendly
Immersive electronics and a world like no other: created in Japan, Kikuoland is now expanding to Prague!

His favorite color is purple, and he can make latte art. He also composes music. Japanese musician and artist Kikuo builds his songs on fascinating harmonies and contrasts, which he creates using Vocaloid software. His songs combine playfulness with darker undertones, precision with unpredictability, and it is an endless joy to immerse oneself in his music. Just listen to his new single Rainborn Menoko.

His songs are adorned with countless details and refined aesthetics. In twenty years, he has composed more than six hundred of them, but most of them have never seen the light of day. And this mystery is also part of Kikuo's enormous appeal.

The music that Kikuo has been creating since the beginning of the millennium is wonderfully offbeat—as we have come to expect from Japanese musicians, who surprisingly combine countless influences. His song Aishite Aishite Aishite was the first song composed using Vocaloid to exceed 100 million streams, and Kikuo is the first artist of his kind to embark on a world tour with his music. Now he's setting off again – and this time Prague will be there.

Tickets will be available for Fource Friends members from October 30, and will go on public sale (GoOut, Ticketmaster) a day later.
