Sporák:
ALEX
In Adam Dragun’s solo performance ALEX, the performer must strip himself to the core, reaching into childhood dreams and deepest fears. Beyond diving into personal, life-defining, and existential depths, the work also balances on the edge of documentary and performance art. Simultaneously, the piece serves as a record of the creative process and a radical reflection on the meaning of theatre today.
The Spora column regularly hosts Sporák—informal post-show debates at ARCHA+ that typically do not include the creative team. The next session will take place on April 12, but this time, we are experimenting with a different format. In a departure from tradition, we’ve invited Adam Dragun to join the debate. Together, we’ll discuss what it’s like to create this kind of theatre in the modern era, the diverse range of approaches to theatrical production, and the specific process he underwent while developing his solo performance.
