Juraj Mydla, Magdaléna Žiaková: Fog machine
About a technology that displays nothing, but instead alters the conditions of seeing.
We all look at the same sky, yet we see something different. Some see chemtrails; others see deportation flights. We explain what remains invisible through scientific models, personal experience, and conspiracy narratives.
The lecture-performance on the visible and the invisible is taking shape as an open-ended research process. The resulting work will sit somewhere between lecture, performance, and a tribute to one of the theatre's most inconspicuous stage machines.
Based on a True Story is an international arts project that brings together three cultural organizations from Central Europe—ARCHA+ (Czech Republic), Komuna Warszawa (Poland), and Projekt Batyskaf (Slovakia). Its goal is to support and implement the curatorial concept by young theater artists Adam Dragun (SK/CZ) and Olga Ciężkowska (PL), titled Based on a True Story. The project focuses on contemporary theater and performance practices that employ documentary approaches and research-based artistic processes. More information can be found here.

Magdaléna Žiaková (1994)
Vystudovala divadelní dramaturgii na Divadelní fakultě VŠMU. V rámci programu Erasmus+ absolvovala jeden semestr v Krakově a workshop o devising theatre v divadle Nowy Teatr pod vedením Sodji Lotkerové a Wojteka Ziemilského. V současné době pracuje pro Divadlo LUDUS v Bratislavě, které se zaměřuje na dospívající publikum, a v rámci něj vytváří zejména podklady k inscenacím, úvodní komentáře a přednášky. Napsala disertační práci „Inspirace videohrami v divadle“ a videohry přenesla na jeviště v inscenaci Playformance: Walkthrough. Spolu s divadelním souborem Asfd divadlo ašttnnkorazd fildj se podílela na tvůrčí činnosti.
Juraj Mydla (1994)
Vystudoval Katedru intermedií na VŠVU v ateliéru Ilony Németh. Byl členem souboru Asfd divadlo ašttnnkorazd fildj, spolupracoval s několika subjekty nezávislého divadla na Slovensku, převážně v oblasti práce s videem. Dlouhodobě působil jako člen performativního souboru Marína Abramovič Po Sebe Neupratuje. V současné době působí jako umělec a kulturní pracovník v Bratislavě.
