Lenka Vagnerová & Company: Apartment 24
Our lives move in spirals—from the double helix of our DNA to the rituals of everyday existence. They repeat, transform, sometimes rise upward, other times spiral downward, but they never return to the exact same place.
Apartment 24 offers a new perspective on dance theater; it is a work full of detailed and deeply nuanced physical storytelling, where movement becomes memory and repetition becomes revelation. It imbues everyday gestures with virtuoso precision, thereby unveiling an intimate story of love, loss, and anxiety. Like a Swiss watch slowly tearing its own heart from its body.
The production is part of the bread & dance festival.
