Divadlo NIE / ARCHA+: JEDEN A JEDEN A JEDEN
A production about the times we live in, about our lives, our biggest dreams, and our deepest fears. ARCHA+, in collaboration with Divadlo NIE, presents a portrait of society through the eyes of 22 young artists. They came together to capture the times we are living in right now, with as many themes as there are people.
In the spring of 2024, 22 young artists met with the NIE Theater troupe at ARCHA+ to capture the pulse of the present and the society in which they live.
Our dreams give us meaning and an inner fire; they drive us forward and inspire us to strive for something that transcends us. But our deepest fears are also intertwined with our dreams—the fear of failure, rejection, and loss. The fear of the future.
Each of us faces many uncertainties, but together we can overcome and accept them. The first step toward this is sharing and opening up difficult topics together. During rehearsals, we managed to connect with one another and discover that sometimes it takes very little—tossing a tennis ball, running from one end of the room to the other, sitting, walking, or standing together.
We often face the decision of whether to voice the things that lie dormant within us, or to keep them to ourselves. But time spent together with people who are willing to listen can help us make that decision.
When someone divides us into one person, and another, and another, it becomes possible to create a space where we can be together.
