Lunchmeat festival & ARCHA+ present: INFERNO by Louis-Philippe Demers & Bill Vorn

Over two nights, Canadian artists Louis-Philippe Demers & Bill Vorn will present Inferno, a conceptual piece inspired by cybernetics, robotics, and themes from Dante’s Inferno and the Singaporean Ten Courts of Hell. The performance features wearable robotic prostheses attached to audience members, generating unique soundscapes for each show.

By using custom-built technology, Demers & Vorn explore the human experience, mirroring a soul’s descent into damnation. The machines, while not painful, create a physical experience that echoes eternal punishment, living the audience both control and submission.

PERFORMERS' TICKETS

In INFERNO, the audience does not have to be mere observers. They can also become performers themselves. Thanks to special robotic costumes, they will create a unique sound and image and together influence the course of the entire performance. The combination of cybernetic research with conceptual robotics will result in one of the most engaging and unique performances of the Lunchmeat Festival & ARCHA+ programme.
