AMISTAT
Inspired by bands like Kodaline, Kings of Convenience and Ben Howard, brothers Jan and Josef Prasil make music that touches many a heart. Gentle, yet intense melodies. An irreplaceable harmony and sibling bond that only enhances the overall experience of their work. "Amistat encapsulate pure human emotion in a poignant honesty that resonates deeply with listeners," wrote Rolling Stone music magazine about the band. In their lyrics, they open up themes of vulnerability, psychological issues, as well as the light and dark sides of life. Combined with the tranquil melodies, they are a caress to the soul.
"As twins, of course we have spent a lot of time together since we were kids. Sometimes it feels like we are one person. This closeness is reflected in the music we make, but also in our performances. And people can feel this connection from us," the brothers Jan and Josef said in an interview with the foreign publication NDP. They make no secret of the fact that they don't like to stand still. Each of their records is enriched with new effects and instruments, yet retains typical elements such as angelic-sounding harmonies, acoustic guitars and piano.
For March 2025, Amistat are preparing a brand new, long-awaited EP. Not only with it, they will head on a European tour, which will not miss Prague. Don't miss the show of brothers who make music with unprecedented love.
