The party in Pamplona is in full swing, she is sitting in the square, tired and ready to go to bed. At that moment, a young man approaches her. What happens next is described in a completely different way by each of the participants in the case in court.
Spanish playwright Jordi Casanovas' docudrama The Pack is based on a real-life case that shook Spain. Five young men who call themselves 'the pack' meet an 18-year-old student at a wild party in Pamplona. A few days later, their party becomes a publicised case that shakes the whole society.
Sensitive Content Disclaimer: This show touches on difficult topics such as violence and rape that may be emotionally challenging for some male and female viewers. Therefore, participation should be voluntary for students. Nevertheless, the performance offers a unique opportunity for deeper understanding and reflection on these topics.
Recomended age: 17+ years.
The production of the performance will be done in consultation with Konsent experts who will participate in a moderated discussion after the performance. Follow-up work by the teachers with the learners after the performance is a mandatory requirement for participation. Teachers will be sent information materials in advance to prepare their students for this topic and also to serve as a reflection after the performance.
