A musician who redefines the boundaries between emo, trap and hardcore. One of the most prominent voices of contemporary alternative music nothing, nowhere. finally returns to Prague.

Joseph Mulherin, known by his stage name nothing, nowhere, is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary alternative music. This American singer, rapper, producer and visual artist from Vermont has established a firm place among genre pioneers who combine raw emotion with modern digital sound. Indeed, his music is deeply personal, melancholic and often reflects on themes of mental health, identity, isolation and the search for meaning in a postmodern world. His musical achievements have not gone unnoticed and so in 2017 he broke through with his debut album Reaper. A year later, he was included in Alternative Press magazine's Best New Artists list and his popularity skyrocketed.

The artist, who initially composed and produced songs on his own in his bedroom, later began collaborating with prominent names in the music scene. Whether it was collaborations with Travis Barker (blink-182), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) or fellow emo-rap artist Lil West, his work gradually came to the attention of media outlets such as Pitchfork, NME, Kerrang! and Billboard. Nothing, nowhere. so he signed a deal with Fueled by Ramen, the label under which past artists such as Paramore, Panic! At the Disco and other world-class stars.

The music of nothing, nowhere. is a rich genre cocktail. His discography includes trap beats, emo guitars, shoegaze and industrial. But one thing remains across his songs and records - and that's the dark, introspective lyrics. The singer's honesty and rawness will touch anyone who has ever struggled with an identity crisis, depression or loss of self-esteem. It is through his lyrics and blurring the lines between rock, metal and rap that Nothing, Nowhere. has gained the favor of fans around the world. Among other things, he also actively supports mental health organizations. The icing on the cake of his career is his participation in the famous When We Were Young festival, sold-out concerts in the USA and Europe and joint tours with Fall Out Boy, Grandson and Oliver Tree.

After a successful show at Lucerna Music Bar in Prague or a joint tour with Fall Out Boy in Fortuna, he is now returning to the Czech Republic. And as he says: stronger and better than ever. Last year's Cult Classic or the hits Hammer or Pieces of You - the young artist from Vermont will touch the darkest corners of all souls present at ARŠE+.
