ARCHA+SCHOOLS

ARCHA+ focuses its programme primarily on young audiences - not only in the evening programme, but also in the morning activities for schools. ARCHA+'s dramaturgy is multi-genre, which is why the programmes for schools also include activities from different types of art - theatre and dance performances, music workshops or unconventional discussions.

Focus on current topics

Topics that get under your skin: relationships, pressure, identity, taboos. Each performance is followed by a moderated discussion with the creators, which opens up space for sharing and asking questions that are sometimes difficult to find the time or courage to ask at school.

Who is the program intended for?

Most performances and workshops are intended primarily for high school students and older elementary school students (ages 13–19). Some productions are also accessible to younger students aged 10 and up. The recommended age is always listed in the performance information.

Lecture programs for better orientation and a deeper experience

We supplement our school programs with various forms of lectures – from introductions to creative reflections to thematic workshops. Everything is tailored to the age and experience of the group.

Music education with a difference? Try it with us.

Our music workshops introduce students to the world of sound and rhythm – sometimes technically, sometimes vocally or performatively. We teach them to listen and to create. They enjoy it, and you will too.

Contemporary dance that you won't be afraid to experience for yourself

Dance and media, social networks, or AI? Dance performances also deal with current social issues, and with their modern stage techniques, they are often closer to young people than drama. We also supplement these performances with interactive formats – movement workshops or creative reflections that actively engage students.

Can't bring your class to us? We'll come to you!

Selected productions such as The Lion's Den or dissplay, as well as some music, dance, and theater workshops, can be brought directly to you—to your gym, auditorium, or classroom. We will arrange this individually.

Debate as performance

For teaching ZSV/OV or media literacy, we also offer a unique format called Debate for Puppets – an interactive performative discussion with hidden guests on current and important topics. It includes a creative lecture program led by students from DAMU.

For active students: ARCHA+U and Third Space

Do you have students in your class who are interested in art in greater depth? We offer them the ARCHA+U educational program – workshops, discussions, lectures, or Third Space community activities such as music listening sessions and film screenings.
