TERMS, CONDITIONS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE "In C" PROJECT, THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS MUST BE MET:

  1. Attendance at all the rehearsals: the rehearsals will take place in several blocks and it is mandatory to attend all rehearsals within the time duration from Monday to Friday, in a minimum of five one-hour blocks per day. All dates in the detailed schedule here.

  2. Choreography handover: there will be a handover of Sasha Waltz's choreography, which requires very sensitive group rehearsal.

  3. Establishing strong relationships between the dancers: is crucial, as this level is also very important to the performance of "In C".

  4. Collaboratively created dance composition: The "In C" project is about a collaboratively created dance composition that is happening here and now, with given rules of the game. It is a pure democracy where mutual listening and collaboration is important.

 

WORKING WITH VIDEO TUTORIALS:

During the creation of the performance, several short videos were made for each routine, where each routine is explained, counted and performed in the original space direction. These so-called tutorials will be provide to each dancer chosen for the project.

  • The project will include independent work with these videos, so when we meet in person we can work deeper, have more time for details, collaboration and play with different performance rules.

  • In order to receive these tutorials, the participants will sign a short usage agreement stating that the videos will only be used for the purpose of staging the "In C" performance in Prague specifically.

 

All these conditions are necessary for the successful execution and development of the project. If you agree and are willing to commit to these conditions, we are looking forward to you in the audition.
