MORE ABOUT THE CHOREOGRAPHY AND SASHA WALTZ

"In C" is choreographed by world-renowned choreographer Sasha Waltz, who was inspired by the musical work also called "In C" by composer Terry Riley. The revolutionary piece of music, composed in 1964, consists of 53 musical figures that are performed according to certain rules but freely interpreted by different musicians. Sasha Waltz took this concept and transformed it into a dance piece that has become a symbol of innovation and artistic freedom.

The piece allows dancers to explore their own movements and respond creatively to the space and music. The number of dancers is not fixed, which brings a dynamic and individuality to each performance.

The "In C" project has been performed in many venues around the world and has become a symbol of international artistic collaboration and exchange. As one of the world's leading choreographers, Sasha Waltz has brought many innovations to the dance world. Her approach to her work is characterized by a deep respect for the musical subject matter and an openness to new interpretations and creative challenges. She has managed to combine music and dance in a way that allows dancers and audiences to experience art as a living and constantly evolving organism.

The performance "In C" is not only a work of art, but also a platform for encounters and collaborations between dancers from different parts of the world. At the same time, it appeals to the audience with its freshness, energy and ability to bring new experiences with every performance.
